Roofing & Cladding Systems
The Skin of Your Building, Engineered for India's Climate
Alphaspan supplies, profiles, and installs metal roofing and wall cladding systems designed to withstand Indian heat, monsoon rainfall, and coastal salinity, with energy efficiency built in.
Why Metal Roofing & Cladding?
The roof and walls of a PEB building do far more than keep out the rain. A well-specified metal envelope controls internal temperature, manages condensation, handles structural wind and snow loads, and determines how your building looks for the next 25 years. Alphaspan profiles all our roofing and cladding sheets in-house on our dedicated roof profile and purlin profile machines, so you get precision-formed panels cut to exact length, with no site wastage.
Roofing Systems
Trapezoidal Profile Roofing (Exposed Fastener)
Our most widely specified roofing system, combining strength, economy, and proven performance across thousands of projects. The trapezoidal rib profile distributes load efficiently across purlins and sheds water rapidly even on low-pitch roofs.
- Material: Galvalume (AZ150) or pre-painted Galvalume (PPGL)
- Thickness: 0.47mm, 0.50mm, 0.55mm, specified per wind zone and span
- Colours: full RAL palette available in PPGL finish
- Best for: industrial warehouses, factories, logistics parks, farm buildings
Standing Seam (Concealed Fastener) System
A premium roofing system in which fixings are completely hidden beneath the panel seam, eliminating any fastener penetration through the sheet. Offers superior weatherproofing and a sleek architectural finish suited to commercial and institutional buildings.
- Material: Galvalume or pre-painted Galvalume
- Thickness: 0.55mm to 0.70mm
- Thermal movement: floating clip system accommodates panel expansion
- Best for: commercial buildings, hospitals, schools, data centres, airports
Insulated Sandwich Panels (PIR / PUF Core)
For buildings requiring controlled internal temperatures, cold stores, food processing plants, clean rooms, data centres, and air-conditioned office buildings, our insulated sandwich panels provide both structure and thermal barrier in a single 50mm to 200mm panel.
- Core options: PIR (Polyisocyanurate) or PUF (Polyurethane Foam)
- Typical core thicknesses: 50mm, 75mm, 100mm, 150mm, 200mm
- U-values from 0.18 W/m²K at 100mm PIR core
- Fire classification available: B2 standard, A2 mineral wool core for fire-rated applications
- Best for: cold storage, food processing, pharmaceuticals, data centres, air-conditioned offices
Wall Cladding Systems
Alphaspan wall cladding completes the building envelope, providing weather resistance, thermal performance, and visual impact. All wall cladding is supplied pre-cut to length and finished to match the roofing system.
Trapezoidal Wall Cladding
Matching the roof profile for a consistent aesthetic. Available in single-skin and double-skin (with liner and insulation) configurations. Suitable for all industrial and most commercial applications.
Flat / Micro-Rib Wall Panels
A shallower rib profile that gives a smoother, more architectural appearance. Popular for showrooms, office buildings, and institutional projects where aesthetics are a priority alongside performance.
Composite Insulated Wall Panels
The wall equivalent of insulated roof panels, a factory-bonded sandwich of steel facings and rigid foam core. Provides the best possible thermal, acoustic, and fire performance in a wall application.
- Best for: cold storage sidewalls, clean rooms, pharmaceutical facilities, controlled environments
Skylights & Natural Lighting
Alphaspan integrates natural daylighting elements directly into the roof and wall systems. See our dedicated Daylight Systems page for the complete range.
